We are looking for a highly experienced and field-oriented Special Production & Projects Technician to support the execution of complex, multidisciplinary operations across our assets in Gabon. This role is critical in ensuring safe, efficient, and timely delivery of operational and construction activities in challenging and remote environments.

You will act as a key link between production, projects, logistics, and contractors, with a strong hands-on involvement in field execution and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and supervise complex field operations across multiple sites
  • Lead pipeline construction and ZAP-LOK installation activities
  • Support flexible pipeline installation and tie-in operations
  • Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with procedures and safety standards
  • Coordinate marine and remote logistics (barges, inter-island transport, mobilization)
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting and rapid operational support
  • Support hydrotesting, commissioning, and system readiness
  • Ensure strong HSSE leadership and promote a safety-first culture
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide operational reporting

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil & gas field operations, construction, or pipeline installation
  • Strong hands-on experience in pipeline construction and field execution
  • Experience with ZAP-LOK systems (highly desirable)
  • Exposure to flexible pipelines, tie-ins, and offshore/onshore interfaces
  • Proven experience in remote operations and marine logistics
  • Strong ability to supervise contractors and coordinate teams
  • Excellent troubleshooting, organisational, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in challenging and isolated environments
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Strong commitment to HSSE standards and operational discipline
