Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Job Summary

We are hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a remote telehealth position. This role focuses on direct therapy, client assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical care. You will help clients work through mental health concerns in a professional virtual setting. Sessions may include support around stress, mood concerns, emotional regulation, personal relationships, self-esteem, grief, trauma-related symptoms, or major transitions. The role calls for someone who can listen well, document clearly, and provide therapy that is grounded in sound clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients through a secure video platform
• Provide individual counseling and mental health support
• Conduct intake sessions and ongoing clinical assessments
• Create practical treatment goals with each client
• Maintain up-to-date notes and clinical records
• Support clients in building coping strategies and emotional awareness
• Assess risk and respond appropriately when safety concerns arise
• Follow Florida licensing standards and telehealth requirements
• Maintain professional communication with clients and support staff

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field
• Active Florida LMHC license in good standing
• Previous experience providing individual counseling or psychotherapy
• Comfortable providing therapy through telehealth
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a full-time remote caseload responsibly
• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for client sessions
