Job Summary

Primary responsible for designing, developing and administering test to ensure acceptance criteria are met and identify any potential issues.

Requirements

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, develop and document comprehensive test cases
• Defines appropriate tests required and associated test data
• Evaluates and reports result of the test cycle to the Scrum team
• Analyze and review User Stories and its Acceptance Criteria
• Participated in Scrum events
• Performs web and mobile applications testing to ensure that they meet design specifications and are free of bugs and other issues.
• Use a variety of testing techniques to identify and report issues and defects, including regression testing, exploratory testing, acceptance testing, and system integration testing.
• Conducts review, analysis, and investigation of requirements and bugs raised together with the
• scrum team
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that
• requirements are clearly defined and that the software is meeting those requirements
• Provide input to the Quality Manager and Quality Lead regarding the status of the testing
• Identifying areas that need improvement based on test results and proposing solution to management
• Prepare and publish detailed daily status report
• Assist production support in replicating any reported issue from the customers
• Assist in conducting User Acceptance Test
• Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester, with a focus on web and mobile applications
• Experience with testing techniques, including regression testing, exploratory testing, bank application testing, mobile, and system integration testing.
• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems, such as Jira or Bugzilla, Azure Devops etc.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and report issues and defects accurately and effectively.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including developers, product owners, and other testers.
• A strong understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
• A self-starter who takes initiative, can work without supervision and begin projects independently, embrace challenges, sets high standards, focuses on successful outcomes and promotes teamwork.
• A fast learner that can come up with several solutions to solve a problem and will analyze quickly to determine the best course of action.
