Join our team in Prague

For our Prague office (Traction Power Systems), we are looking for a Junior Construction Site Manager to support the delivery of railway traction substation projects across the Czech Republic.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically-minded professional looking to grow their career in construction and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with experienced Project Managers and engineering teams, helping coordinate construction activities, overseeing installation works, and ensuring smooth project execution on site.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination and supervision of construction and installation activities on project sites.
  • Monitor daily site operations and ensure works are performed according to project requirements and schedules.
  • Oversee contractors and installation teams during project execution.
  • Assist with the coordination of civil, mechanical, and electrical works.
  • Support the installation and integration of traction power systems, including MV equipment, transformers, DC switchgear, LV systems, and SCADA solutions.
  • Help ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain site documentation, progress reports, and project records.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
  • Identify site issues and work with the project team to resolve them efficiently.
  • Act as a key link between subcontractors, suppliers, customers, and internal project stakeholders.
  • Promote and maintain HSE standards and safe working practices at all times.

Requirements

  • Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in construction projects, site supervision, installation activities, or project coordination.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and drawings.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proactive approach and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a project team.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to project sites across the Czech Republic.
  • Good command of Czech and English.
  • Interest in infrastructure, railway, energy, or industrial projects.
