Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain light vehicles, trailers, and small equipment.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to prioritize and review repair orders, ensuring timely performance of all repairs.
- Conduct diagnostics and develop effective repair strategies.
- Ensure all repairs are completed to high-quality standards before equipment leaves the shop.
- Perform on-site repairs and services as required.
- Maintain detailed service reports and documentation to facilitate efficient operations.
- Adhere to and promote safety procedures in accordance with company standards.
Requirements
- Journeyman Automotive Service Certification
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive service experience
- CVIP Certification is a condition of Employment
- Experience with heavy equipment is an asset
- Ability to adapt to flexible working schedules
- Proficient with computer systems and smart devices, with a willingness to adopt new work order software
- Detail-oriented and quality-driven mindset
- Self-motivated and able to demonstrate strong work ethics
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license
- Possession of necessary personal tools for light truck and trailer repairs
