About the role

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our IT team. This role involves providing technical support, managing user accounts, and troubleshooting issues related to Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), Office 365, and other cloud-based IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, experience with cloud-based solutions, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What you'll be doing

  1. Technical Support:
    • Provide first and second-level support to end-users for hardware, software, and cloud-based services.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Windows and MacOS environments, Office 365 applications, and other enterprise software.
    • Support IT Operations Team.
    • Printer MPS familiarity
    • Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets within established SLAs.
  2. Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) Management:
    • Manage and maintain user accounts, groups, and roles within Entra ID (Azure AD).
    • Assist with single sign-on (SSO) configurations and troubleshoot authentication issues.
    • Implement and enforce security policies, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and conditional access.
  3. Office 365 Administration:
    • Administer and support Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and other related applications.
    • Troubleshoot Office 365 connectivity and synchronization issues.
    • Micrososft Teams phone basic administration.
  4. Intune and Device Management:
    • Manage and deploy devices using Microsoft Intune.
    • Configure policies for device compliance, application deployment, and endpoint security.
  5. Basic Network Support:
    • Provide basic network troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN connectivity and wireless access points.
    • Support and manage Fortinet equipment, ensuring network security and performance.
  6. Conference Room Equipment:
    • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot conference room equipment, including video conferencing systems, projectors, and other AV equipment.
    • Provide support for virtual meetings and ensure seamless connectivity and functionality.
  7. Security and Compliance:
    • Monitor and respond to security alerts and assist in the investigation of potential security incidents.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and best practices for IT security and data protection.
  8. Documentation and Training:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
    • Provide training and support to end-users to improve their IT literacy and reduce recurring issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and Office 365 administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune for device management.
  • Familiarity and basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Familiriaty with Fortinet equipment is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with non-technical users.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
