SaaS Implementation | Client Onboarding | Project Management | Software Configuration

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: U.S. Client Business Hours (with flexibility for implementation deadlines, go-live support, and client training sessions)

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring an Implementation Consultant to lead clients through successful software implementations—from project kickoff to post-launch adoption and optimization.

This role combines project management, business process analysis, software configuration, client onboarding, training, and technical consulting to ensure customers successfully adopt and maximize the value of the platform.

You’ll work closely with clients to understand their workflows, configure solutions that meet their business needs, coordinate implementations, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the onboarding journey.

What You’ll Own

Client Implementation & Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end software implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and post-launch support.
  • Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously while ensuring timelines and milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate project deliverables with clients and internal teams.
  • Provide regular implementation updates and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Ensure successful software adoption and customer satisfaction throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Requirements Gathering & Solution Design

  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand client workflows and business requirements.
  • Analyze operational processes and identify implementation needs.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable software configurations.
  • Recommend workflow improvements and platform best practices.
  • Design implementation plans aligned with client objectives.

System Configuration & Setup

  • Configure software based on customer requirements and business processes.
  • Customize platform settings and features to meet implementation goals.
  • Coordinate advanced configuration requests with technical teams.
  • Optimize system usability, efficiency, and long-term adoption.

Data Migration & Integrations

  • Support data migration activities including mapping, validation, and imports.
  • Coordinate API integrations and third-party system connectivity.
  • Validate migrated data and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Ensure secure and accurate transfer of client data during onboarding.

Training & User Enablement

  • Deliver onboarding sessions for administrators and end users.
  • Create implementation guides, SOPs, and training documentation.
  • Conduct live demonstrations, Q&A sessions, and user workshops.
  • Ensure customers are confident using the platform after launch.

Testing, Troubleshooting & Post-Go-Live Support

  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Troubleshoot implementation and configuration issues.
  • Escalate technical challenges when necessary.
  • Recommend system optimizations following deployment.
  • Support customers throughout post-launch adoption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support teams.
  • Communicate client feedback and product enhancement opportunities.
  • Help improve implementation processes and onboarding experiences.
  • Contribute to scalable implementation standards and best practices.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in:
    • Software Implementation
    • Technical Consulting
    • Client Onboarding
    • Customer Success
  • Experience implementing SaaS or cloud-based software platforms.

Core Skills

  • Strong understanding of software implementation lifecycles.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple implementation projects simultaneously.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new platforms.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience supporting data migrations and system integrations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing:
    • CRM platforms
    • ERP systems
    • HRIS solutions
    • Project Management software
    • Operations platforms
  • Familiarity with APIs, workflow automation, and third-party integrations.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or consulting environments.
  • Knowledge of change management and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience creating onboarding materials, SOPs, and training documentation.
  • Familiarity with:

    • Monday.com
    • Trello
