Digital Marketing Account Manager (Local SEO & Google Business Profile) – Remote

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Digital Marketing Account Manager to manage a portfolio of client accounts while improving Google Business Profile performance, local search visibility, and online reputation.

This is a hands-on digital marketing role where you’ll combine technical Local SEO execution with client relationship management. You’ll personally optimize Google Business Profiles, execute local SEO initiatives, analyze performance, and present measurable results to clients through regular business reviews.

What You’ll Own

Google Business Profile Optimization

  • Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles across multiple client locations.
  • Improve local search visibility through ongoing profile optimization.
  • Maintain accurate business information, categories, services, photos, posts, and attributes.
  • Develop strategies to increase profile visibility, customer engagement, and conversions.
  • Monitor Google Business Profile performance and recommend improvements.

Local SEO Management

  • Execute Local SEO strategies to improve Google Maps and local search rankings.
  • Maintain NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) consistency across online directories.
  • Manage citations and strengthen local search authority.
  • Implement review generation and online reputation management strategies.
  • Monitor local search performance and identify optimization opportunities.

Client Account Management

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 15–20 client accounts.
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication.
  • Conduct monthly performance review meetings with clients.
  • Present campaign results, insights, and recommendations in clear, non-technical language.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client retention and support account growth.

Reporting & Marketing Analytics

  • Prepare monthly marketing performance reports.
  • Analyze key performance metrics including:
    • Google Business Profile performance
    • Local search rankings
    • Customer engagement
    • Website traffic
  • Present actionable recommendations backed by performance data.
  • Track campaign progress and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Marketing Tools & Process Improvement

  • Evaluate, implement, and manage digital marketing tools.
  • Recommend workflow improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Stay current with Google Business Profile updates, Local SEO best practices, and industry trends.
  • Improve internal marketing processes and reporting efficiency.

Internal Collaboration

  • Partner with internal account management and operations teams.
  • Support leadership with enterprise client reporting.
  • Learn internal software platforms quickly and accurately interpret marketing data.
  • Ensure clients receive a seamless, high-quality experience.

Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience focused on execution.
  • Proven experience optimizing Google Business Profiles across multiple businesses or locations.
  • Experience independently managing multiple client accounts.

    • Google Maps ranking factors
    • Citation management
    • NAP consistency
    • Online reputation management
  • Experience preparing and presenting client performance reports.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing digital marketing software and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Review client portfolio performance and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Optimize Google Business Profiles and Local SEO initiatives.
  • Monitor citations, reviews, and local search rankings.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports and client presentations.
  • Meet with clients to review results and recommend next steps.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve client requests.
  • Research and implement new tools and process improvements.
