About the Role
As a Headache Medicine Physician, you'll evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with primary and secondary headache disorders, including migraine, tension-type headache, cluster headache, trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias, occipital neuralgia, and other complex headache conditions.
You'll develop individualized treatment plans using the latest evidence-based therapies while performing in-office procedures that help improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients with acute and chronic headache disorders
- Diagnose and manage migraine, chronic migraine, tension headaches, cluster headaches, and other primary and secondary headache conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based medical therapies
- Perform in-office procedures, including:
- Botox® injections for chronic migraine
- Peripheral nerve blocks
- Trigger point injections
- Infusion therapy
- Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and multidisciplinary clinical staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Participate in a limited shared call rotation

Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Eligible for or currently licensed to practice medicine in Arizona
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in an applicable specialty
Preferred Qualifications
We welcome physicians from a variety of backgrounds, including:
- Neurology with fellowship training in Headache Medicine
- Neurology with a strong interest in headache disorders
- Internal Medicine physicians with significant headache management experience
- Family Medicine physicians with extensive experience treating migraine and headache patients
- Experience performing Botox injections, nerve blocks, trigger point injections, or infusion therapy is preferred but not required
