Role Overview 

We are looking for a Mid/Senior React & TypeScript Developer to join our engineering team. This role will require you to work on both internal and customer-facing systems, including our AI-enabled support portal that serves customers across the globe. You will design, build, and maintain full stack JavaScript applications — from responsive React front ends to Node.js APIs — while contributing to the CI/CD pipelines and AWS infrastructure that support them. You will work closely with product, design, and QA to deliver reliable, well-tested features. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using React and TypeScript 

• Develop and maintain Node.js backend services and RESTful APIs 

• Design and optimise database schemas and queries (SQL and/or NoSQL) 

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, build, and deployment 

• Deploy, configure, and manage application infrastructure on AWS 

• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following engineering best practices 

• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features 

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning 

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the stack, including in production 

• Produce clear technical documentation for APIs, services, and deployment processes 

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing 

Required Skills & Experience 

• 5+ years of professional full stack JavaScript development experience 

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript 

• Hands-on experience with React, including hooks, context, and component architecture 

• Solid Node.js backend development experience 

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs 

• Practical experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) 

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) 

• Working knowledge of AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) 

• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows 

• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals: testing, debugging, and performance optimisation 

Desirable Skills 

• Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) 

• Familiarity with GraphQL 

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) 

• Exposure to microservices architecture 

• Agile / Scrum experience 

• AWS certification (e.g. Solutions Architect, Developer Associate)
