About this Full stack Developer (React & Typescript) role at Keyloop
Role Overview
We are looking for a Mid/Senior React & TypeScript Developer to join our engineering team. This role will require you to work on both internal and customer-facing systems, including our AI-enabled support portal that serves customers across the globe. You will design, build, and maintain full stack JavaScript applications — from responsive React front ends to Node.js APIs — while contributing to the CI/CD pipelines and AWS infrastructure that support them. You will work closely with product, design, and QA to deliver reliable, well-tested features.
Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using React and TypeScript

Develop and maintain Node.js backend services and RESTful APIs

Design and optimise database schemas and queries (SQL and/or NoSQL)

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, build, and deployment
-
Deploy, configure, and manage application infrastructure on AWS
-
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following engineering best practices

Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features
-
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning
-
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the stack, including in production

Produce clear technical documentation for APIs, services, and deployment processes

Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing
Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of professional full stack JavaScript development experience

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
-
Hands-on experience with React, including hooks, context, and component architecture

Solid Node.js backend development experience

Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs

Practical experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)

Working knowledge of AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)

Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows

Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals: testing, debugging, and performance optimisation
Desirable Skills

Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)

Familiarity with GraphQL

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Exposure to microservices architecture

Agile / Scrum experience

AWS certification (e.g. Solutions Architect, Developer Associate)
