The Field Installation Lead will plan and lead all installation team activities in support of the U.S. Navy’s Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) program on-base.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Conduct, lead and plan altercation installation team activities
· In charge of field installation, in briefs/out briefs, deficiency correction, ACU/NBU coordination and deployed execution
· Leads AIT planning/execution and coordinates field modifications
· Testing, documentation, and government/customer interfaces
· Perform routine work with limited to no supervision or instruction
· Ability to take on new assignments with general instructions
· Apply industry knowledge to various programs and projects ensuring successful completion
· Use knowledge of industry standard policies, procedures and practical applications to complete job tasks
· Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned
Education:
· High School Degree Required
· Technical school or Navy maintenance training or equivalent required
Licenses & Certifications:
· Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain an interim clearance required
· Safety training required
· ENAVSEA TS9090-310 familiarity
Experience:
· Eight to ten(8-10) years of experience in similar position
· AIT experience required
Skills & Abilities:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals
· Ability to install, assemble, and configure new mechanical or refrigeration systems
· Ability to troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and fix issues
· Ability to work independently and coordinate with general maintenance staff
· Ability to work with various levels of personnel
· Use of Microsoft Office software applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Other:
· Ability to work onsite 5 days per week with additional hours, as required
· Travel-ready as required
