Sugah Cain Farm, home to the horses of Old South Carriage Company, is looking for a dependable, self-motivated Farm Maintenance Technician to help keep our farm and facilities in excellent condition.

This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, values flexibility, and takes ownership of their work.

Responsibilities

• Mow and maintain fields, pastures, and landscaped areas
• Operate tractors, zero-turn mowers, and other farm equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools
• Repair and maintain fencing, gates, barns, and farm structures
• General property upkeep, including trimming, pressure washing, painting, and cleanup
• Assist with small construction and improvement projects
• Monitor the property for maintenance needs and proactively address issues
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized farm environment

Requirements

Experience operating lawn and farm equipment preferred

Mechanical aptitude and basic repair skills

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day

Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision

Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
