About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior SAP PP Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in the SAP Production Planning (PP) module and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. You will be instrumental in analyzing business requirements, designing, configuring, and implementing robust SAP PP solutions that drive efficiency and optimize our manufacturing operations. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, guide business users, and ensure the successful delivery of SAP projects. Your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle, from initial requirement gathering and solution design through to implementation, testing, training, and post-go-live support. We are looking for a seasoned professional who can leverage their deep SAP PP knowledge and manufacturing domain expertise to address complex business challenges and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and provide SAP PP solutions aligned with manufacturing processes.
• Configure and support SAP PP functionalities including: Master Data, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Orders, MRP, Capacity Planning, and Demand Management.
• Handle Standard and Special Procurement processes.
• Manage Inventory Management and Inventory Optimization processes.
• Support Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) and Discrete Manufacturing operations.
• Work closely with business users for requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, QM, and WM/EWM.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
• Prepare functional specifications for developments, reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
• Provide end-user training, documentation, go-live, and hypercare support.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions.
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall SAP experience with at least 8+ years of strong expertise in the SAP PP module.
• Hands-on experience in: Standard and Special Procurement, Inventory Management, Inventory Optimization, Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), and Discrete Manufacturing.
• Strong domain knowledge in the manufacturing industry, including shop floor control, purchasing, production management, and planning.
• Good understanding of SAP PP integration with MM, SD, QM, and WM/EWM.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation/support projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Additional Information

SAP PP Certification is an added advantage. Experience in industrial manufacturing environments is preferred. Knowledge of interfaces, IDocs, and reporting tools is beneficial. Experience with MES systems (SAP/non-SAP) is preferred. This is an onsite role based in Bangalore, India, requiring a dedicated and results-oriented professional to contribute significantly to our SAP landscape and manufacturing excellence.
