About the role

This is an entry‑level role designed for someone at the start of their people or HR career who is keen to learn, develop and build practical experience while completing a CIPD Level 3 apprenticeship alongside their role.

Reporting into the Early Careers, Continuous Growth & Inclusion Manager, you will provide administrative, coordination and operational support across our early career’s programmes. The role plays a key part in keeping programmes running smoothly, ensuring accurate information, and supporting both apprentices and internal stakeholders.

This role does not require prior HR experience - we’re looking for someone organised, curious and motivated to learn.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Coordinate and administer early careers and apprenticeship programmes, ensuring trackers and records are accurate and up to date
  • Provide day‑to‑day support to apprentices, acting as a first point of contact and signposting queries appropriately
  • Support engagement with apprenticeship providers, including meeting coordination, note‑taking and action tracking
  • Collect, maintain and present programme data and feedback to support reporting and continuous improvement
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to D&I activity and colleague networks, including event and meeting coordination
  • Manage diaries, meeting rooms, bookings and shared documentation across Early Careers and related activity
  • Any other adhoc admin tasks to support the team

About you

  • Experience coordinating activities, events, projects or administrative tasks, with the ability to stay organised and keep things on track when managing multiple priorities.
  • A great eye for detail and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Confidence using digital tools, such as Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Teams.
  • Experience maintaining information using spreadsheets, trackers, databases or similar systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to build positive relationships with a wide range of people.
  • Experience working as part of a team, whether through work, education, volunteering or other activities.
  • A proactive mindset, with a willingness to take ownership, solve problems and look for ways to make things better.
  • A genuine passion for supporting others and helping people learn, develop and succeed.
  • An interest in creating inclusive environments where everyone feels valued, supported and able to be themselves.
  • The motivation to learn on the job whilst working towards a CIPD Level 3 apprenticeship.

You can expect a two stage interview process for this position:  

1st stage - An informal 30-45 minute video call with the hiring team to discuss your skills and relevant experience. This is a great opportunity to find out more about the role and to ask any questions you may have.  

2nd Stage – A one-hour formal face-to-face interview where you can expect a task and values based competency questions.
