Are you detail-oriented, customer-focused, and passionate about logistics? Join our team as a Dispatch Support Specialist and play a key role in ensuring efficient delivery operations while providing exceptional support to customers and drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch deliveries across assigned markets and create efficient routes based on driver schedules, customer needs, and service level agreements.
- Manage daily dispatch operations using the company's dispatch system.
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve concerns promptly while maintaining a professional and courteous approach.
- Handle customer inquiries and tickets through Dialpad and Zendesk.
- Coordinate closely with drivers by providing timely updates, instructions, and operational support.
- Monitor delivery performance and help achieve on-time delivery metrics of 90% or higher.
- Provide regular feedback to Operations leaders regarding driver performance and staffing needs.
- Develop a strong understanding of assigned markets, including clients, drivers, and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible, dependable, and highly organized.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software and changing operational needs.
- Experience managing operational workflows efficiently is an advantage.
- Passion for logistics and delivering high-quality service.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.).
- Comfortable working in an onsite, fast-paced environment.
