About this Director of Sales, South Asia role at Duetto Research
As Director of Sales for South Asia, you'll own new logo acquisition across India, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives: building pipeline from a limited base, establishing executive relationships with hotel commercial leaders, and developing the channel partnerships that extend Duetto's reach across three markets simultaneously. This is an entrepreneurial IC role for someone who thrives without a playbook, brings genuine credibility in hotel revenue management, and is energised by the challenge of building a market from the ground up.

What You'll Be Doing
- You'll own the full sales cycle across South Asia — from lead qualification through contract execution — acting as a trusted advisor to C-level and VP-level hotel executives, aligning their business needs with Duetto's platform and driving deal momentum to close.
- You'll build and maintain a high-quality pipeline at 3x quarterly quota through disciplined prospecting, deal management, and forecast accuracy in Salesforce — operating with full commercial ownership and standard discount authority.
- You'll establish and develop channel partner and local distribution relationships across India, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives — building the partner infrastructure that extends Duetto's reach beyond direct sales in markets where local presence matters.
- You'll represent Duetto at industry events and hospitality conferences across South Asia, building brand authority and executive relationships in a region where the company is establishing its footprint for the first time.
- You'll collaborate with Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Leadership on segment-specific messaging, playbooks, and deal strategies — and feed structured market feedback from South Asia back to Product to influence the roadmap.
- You'll use AI tools to accelerate TAM analysis, prospecting research, outreach drafting, and customer strategy development — applying your commercial judgment and relationship depth where AI can't, and staying in the loop as automation takes on more of the research and drafting workload over time.
What We're Looking For
You may be a good fit if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in technology and travel or hospitality sales
- Deep understanding of revenue management and hotel commercial operations — either from a prior Revenue Manager role or from years of selling into hotel commercial teams with genuine domain credibility
- A track record of building pipeline and closing enterprise deals in a consultative, multi-stakeholder sales environment
- Experience building channel partner relationships and local distribution networks, ideally across the South Asia market
- Proficiency in Salesforce including pipeline management and forecasting
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills at C-level and VP level
- Willingness to travel up to 30% across India, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives
- Based in Mumbai or the surrounding region
Strong candidates may also have:
- Prior experience selling revenue management systems specifically
- Established executive relationships across hotel groups operating in India, Sri Lanka, or the Maldives
- Cultural fluency and professional networks across South Asia hospitality markets
