You'll join the Digital PR & Online Reputation team, the part of Preply responsible for building the trust and authority that makes us recommendable, wherever people look for a way to learn. That means ChatGPT, AI Overviews, and the LLMs people now ask before they ask anyone else. We build that authority through data-driven campaigns, product-led stories, earned media, and reputation signals across the platforms our future learners actually trust. This is an exciting opportunity to roll out our playbook before pivoting into huge new opportunities around expansion in 2027.

As a Digital PR Manager for European Markets, you'll own the strategy and operations that make Preply visible, trusted, and chosen in DE, PL, and IT. You'll adapt and scale our global Digital PR playbook to local market realities by running DPR campaigns, building link magnets, managing reputation, and working across teams to create an authority moat that holds in both Google Search and LLMs. This is a role for someone who can read a market, build a plan, and execute it with discipline.

What you’ll be doing

  • Drive measurable improvements in Preply's visibility in Google Search and LLM-driven discovery across DE, PL, and IT, this is an impact-based role where success is defined by outcomes, not activity.

  • Own end-to-end Digital PR & Reputation playbook and operations across DE, PL, and IT: adapting the global playbook to local market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and audience behaviours, with strategic support from your manager for Language and Non-language subjects.

  • Design and run data-driven DPR campaigns and link magnet initiatives that build domain authority and improve Preply's visibility in Google Search and LLM-driven discovery.

  • Manage online reputation across key platforms in European markets, monitoring community signals and coordinating responses that build brand trust consistently over time.

  • Lead agency relationships and manage market-level budgets with a performance mindset: setting clear KPIs, holding partners accountable, and optimising spend toward authority and visibility outcomes.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, SEO, Brand, and Product teams to adapt global assets into locally resonant campaigns, grounded in a working understanding of local ICPs.

  • Track market shifts and algorithm changes, LLM behaviour, competitor moves, and recalibrate tactics with informed urgency to protect and extend Preply's authority position.

  • Contribute to playbook development by documenting learnings, sharing what works by market, and raising the standard for how Preply executes Digital PR in European territories.

What you need to succeed

  • 5+ years in Digital PR, earned media, or online reputation with a track record of building brand authority that translates to measurable search or visibility impact.

  • Experience owning or contributing to multi-market strategies and comfortable adapting an established playbook or building strategy from scratch in markets with limited prior structure.

  • Solid understanding of how earned coverage, link acquisition, and reputation signals feed into Google Search rankings and LLM recommendability.

  • Proven ability to manage agency relationships and budgets with rigour and knows how to define scope, set expectations, track delivery, and course-correct.

  • Collaborative by default - able to align cross-functional teams across SEO, Content, Brand, and Product around joined-up campaigns that move the needle on authority.

  • Critical thinker who operates well in markets in constant flux and distinguishes signal from noise, adapts quickly, and keeps execution disciplined under ambiguity.

  • Experience working in or researching DE, PL, or IT markets is a strong advantage; language skills are not a requirement. We're hiring for the person, not the language.
