About the Role

At Pavago, we’re hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a Content Marketing Manager to lead the company’s content strategy, strengthen brand authority, and drive organic growth for a fast-growing fintech business.

This is not a traditional social media role. You’ll own the end-to-end content marketing function—developing content that educates, builds trust, grows audiences, and generates inbound opportunities across multiple digital channels.

Working closely with leadership, you’ll position the company as a trusted voice in fintech, cross-border payments, and diaspora-focused financial services through strategic storytelling, SEO, thought leadership, newsletters, webinars, podcasts, and digital PR.

What You’ll Own

Content Strategy & Brand Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Build brand authority through:
    • Thought leadership
    • Educational content
    • Storytelling
  • Maintain a rolling 30-day content calendar.
  • Identify content opportunities around:
    • Fintech
    • Cross-border payments
    • Diaspora communities
    • Industry trends
  • Continuously optimize strategy based on audience engagement, SEO performance, and analytics.

Content Creation & Organic Marketing

  • Create high-quality:
    • Long-form articles
    • LinkedIn content
    • Newsletters
    • Case studies
    • Founder thought leadership
  • Produce AI-assisted short-form video content using modern creative tools.
  • Manage and grow the company’s presence across:
    • LinkedIn
    • X (Twitter)
    • Instagram
    • YouTube
    • Diaspora-focused communities
  • Ensure consistent messaging, tone, and brand voice across every channel.

SEO & Organic Growth

  • Conduct keyword research and content planning.
  • Optimize website and content for:
    • On-page SEO
    • Search visibility
    • Organic traffic
  • Improve search rankings through content-led SEO initiatives.
  • Monitor performance using:
    • Google Analytics (GA4)
    • Google Search Console
  • Refresh and optimize evergreen content for long-term growth.

Podcast, Webinar & Community Growth

  • Launch and manage podcast and webinar initiatives.
  • Coordinate:
    • Guest outreach
    • Speaker opportunities
    • Event promotion
  • Build engagement within fintech and diaspora communities.
  • Support audience nurturing and long-term community growth.
  • Drive participation across owned media channels.

Digital PR & Brand Amplification

  • Execute digital PR campaigns and media outreach.
  • Build relationships with:
    • Industry publications
    • Partners
    • Influencers
  • Coordinate guest appearances and collaboration opportunities.
  • Support founder branding and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Increase visibility across fintech and startup ecosystems.

Analytics & Performance Reporting

  • Monitor and report on:
    • Organic growth
    • SEO performance
    • Engagement metrics
    • Audience growth
    • Campaign performance
  • Analyze audience behavior and content effectiveness.
  • Present actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Continuously optimize content based on performance data.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in:
    • Content Marketing
    • Brand Marketing
    • Digital Marketing
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating content-driven growth.
  • Experience managing organic social media strategies.
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-powered content and video tools.
  • Proficiency with:
    • Google Analytics (GA4)
    • Google Search Console
  • Strong understanding of:
    • SEO fundamentals
    • Keyword research
    • On-page optimization
  • Excellent written English communication skills.
