**10 Hour Day Shift Opportunity**
6:30a-4:30p Monday through Thursday
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Die Cut Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain a multi-function die cutting press while producing high-quality products that meet customer specifications and production goals. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and committed to quality and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and tear down a multi-function die cutting press.
Mount dies and make machine adjustments to ensure proper operation.
Meet established production, quality, and efficiency standards.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
Review job status, instructions, and production concerns with operators on adjacent shifts to ensure smooth transitions.
Accurately complete production documentation, including labor reporting, quality assurance forms, job tickets, and move tags.
Perform finishing operations such as popping out parts from cut sheets, wrapping skids, and moving finished product.
Monitor product quality throughout the production process and stop production when necessary to correct quality issues.
Follow all company safety policies, environmental procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Properly handle, recycle, and dispose of materials while minimizing waste and scrap.
Preferred Skills & Experience
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience operating die cutting or similar converting equipment is preferred.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and make machine adjustments.
Ability to read and interpret job tickets, blueprints, and production specifications.
Basic computer skills and the ability to enter production information into manufacturing systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and team members.
