About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join an enterprise digital platform project in the banking domain.

You will work closely with engineering teams to build and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational processes, with a strong focus on automation, deployment reliability, observability, scalability, and platform stability.

What You Will Do

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Support application deployment across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
• Manage and support infrastructure across AWS and on-premises environments.
• Deploy and operate containerized applications on Kubernetes, OpenShift, or equivalent platforms.
• Implement and improve GitOps-based deployment workflows.
• Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Investigate deployment, infrastructure, performance, and production incidents.
• Contribute to platform availability, disaster recovery, capacity testing, and operational stability.
• Collaborate with application, data, and infrastructure teams.
• Prepare technical documentation, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Follow information-security, access-control, incident-reporting, and documentation processes required in a banking environment.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, System Engineering, or SRE.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience working with AWS infrastructure and production environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or another container orchestration platform.
• Experience with infrastructure automation or configuration-management tools such as Terraform, CDK, or Ansible.
• Experience with GitOps and deployment tools such as ArgoCD, Helm, or Kustomize.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, EFK, or Splunk.
• Good understanding of Linux, networking, load balancing, system operations, and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with different engineering teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in banking, fintech, or large-scale enterprise projects.
• Exposure to MLOps platforms, ML deployment pipelines, or data workloads.
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, IBM MQ, or other messaging platforms.
• Familiarity with distributed tracing tools such as OpenTelemetry or Zipkin.
• Exposure to OpenShift, WebLogic, IBM Cloud Paks, or Temenos platforms.
• AWS or other cloud certifications.
