About this Cybersecurity Engineer role at Uni Systems
At UniSystems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our UniQue team.
What will you be doing in this role:
- Support the configuration, testing and troubleshooting of supported security products and services.
- Integration of local security services with centralized security infrastructure, and if no integration with centralized security infrastructure is possible, ensure that local infrastructure is configured to provide an equivalent service.
- Contribute to the development of security policy-compliant architectures for operational systems and related mission-support areas.
- Produce specifications of cloud-based or on-premises components, tiers and interfaces, for translation into detailed designs using selected services and products.
- Align solutions with enterprise and solution architecture standards (including security).
- Apply and maintains specific security controls as required by organizational policy and local risk assessments.
- Contribute to the identification of risks that arise from potential technical solution architectures.
- Define secure systems configurations in compliance with intended architectures.
- Support investigation of suspected attacks and security breaches.
- Support routine accreditation advice.
- Review and perform risk assessments and risk treatment plans.
- Define and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritization activities for small-scale changes and assists with more complex change initiatives.
- Review requirements for errors and omissions.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- A Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant field with at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in security monitoring, PKI, vulnerability management, identity and access management.
- At least 3 years of experience in researching and evaluating security products & technologies.
- Knowledge of system and network administration of UNIX and Windows systems.
- Technical knowledge of system and network security, with a particular focus on Zero-Trust and Data-Centric architectures.
- Ability to evaluate risks and formulate mitigation plans.
- Proven ability to write clear and structured technical reports (in English) including executive summary, technical findings and remediation plan for several different audiences.
- Prior experience of working in an international environment will be considered an asset.
- An active NATO Security Clearance is required.
- Very good command of spoken and written English (B2).
