Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for Cyber Recovery Consultant for one of our partners, a leader in the Consulting & Technology Services!
Objective:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Recovery Consultant to join our Cybersecurity and Data Resilience team. This role is ideal for an early-career IT or cybersecurity professional looking to develop expertise in cyber recovery, ransomware resilience, and data protection technologies.
Responsibilities:
Cyber Recovery & Solution Delivery
- Support the implementation and configuration of Dell Technologies Cyber Recovery solutions.
- Assist in deploying secure cyber recovery vaults and ransomware recovery environments.
- Participate in solution validation, recovery testing, and operational readiness activities.
- Support backup, recovery, and cyber resilience assessments for customer environments.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during deployments and testing activities.
Customer Engagement
- Participate in customer workshops, technical meetings, and discovery sessions.
- Gather technical requirements and document customer environments.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, implementation guides, and deployment reports.
- Support knowledge transfer sessions and technical demonstrations for customers.
Infrastructure & Technology
- Work with Windows and Linux operating systems, VMware virtualization, storage platforms, and cloud environments.
- Assist with backup, replication, and recovery configurations.
- Support the integration of cyber recovery solutions with customer infrastructure.
- Monitor solution performance and recommend improvements where appropriate.
Collaboration & Continuous Learning
- Work closely with senior consultants, architects, and project managers throughout project delivery.
- Stay informed about cybersecurity threats, ransomware trends, and cyber resilience best practices.
- Continuously develop knowledge of Dell Technologies Data Protection solutions, including PowerProtect Cyber Recovery, PowerProtect Data Manager, Data Domain, and CyberSense.
- Pursue technical certifications and training to expand professional expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, backup & recovery, data protection, or related technology domains.
- Basic understanding of cyber resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity, and ransomware recovery concepts.
- Knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery technologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with Dell Technologies Data Protection solutions, including PowerProtect Data Manager, Data Domain, Cyber Recovery, or CyberSense, is an advantage.
- Understanding of virtualization platforms (VMware), Windows and Linux operating systems, storage technologies, and cloud environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within project teams and customer environments.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; French is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, backup & recovery, cloud technologies, or Dell Technologies solutions are considered a plus.
