We are looking for a Country Manager – Vietnam (HCMC-based) who is entrepreneurial, relationship-driven, and deeply embedded in Vietnam’s gaming and digital entertainment ecosystem to join our global leadership team. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to build and own Xsolla’s market presence in Vietnam from the ground up.
Strong business development, stakeholder management, and operational skills are essential, along with experience in gaming, digital payments, or fintech in Vietnam or Southeast Asia. The ability to navigate local regulatory environments, grow a partner network, and translate global product strategy into regional success will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

Own and drive Xsolla’s commercial performance in Vietnam, including revenue growth, partner acquisition, and market share targets

Build and expand relationships with game publishers, developers, and platform operators across Vietnam

Lead local go-to-market strategy for Xsolla’s full product suite — including Webshops, the Merchant of Record service, and X.LA country pages

Represent Xsolla externally at industry events, in partner meetings, and with local regulatory and government stakeholders

Ensure all business activities comply with Vietnamese laws, including gaming regulations, taxation, data privacy, and payment licensing requirements

Identify and close new business opportunities with game studios, publishers, and digital entertainment companies

Collaborate with global product, engineering, and marketing teams to adapt Xsolla solutions to Vietnamese market needs and preferences

Build and mentor a local team as the Vietnam operation scales

Provide structured reporting on country performance, including partner growth, monetization metrics, and strategic insights

Serve as the primary point of contact for Xsolla headquarters on all matters related to the Vietnamese market
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
-
10+ years of professional experience in gaming, digital payments, fintech, or digital entertainment in Vietnam or Southeast Asia

Deep knowledge of Vietnam’s gaming market — publishers, regulatory landscape, payment infrastructure, and major platform operators

Proven track record of business development and commercial success in a senior individual contributor or leadership role

Strong network within Vietnam’s gaming and tech ecosystem

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Vietnamese and English

Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Comfort operating with autonomy in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment

Experience building and leading a country or regional team

Prior experience with merchant of record, payment platforms, or game commerce

Background at a publisher, platform operator, or digital entertainment company

Understanding of mobile gaming business models and monetization strategies

Experience navigating government relations and regulatory compliance in Vietnam

Established relationships with Vietnamese game developers and publishers
