About this Clinical Psychologist - Hong Kong role at Intellect
Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering evidence-based treatments, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and experience in administering neuropsychological assessments for youths, adolescents, and adults, as well as strong report writing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans using evidence-based interventions, with a primary focus on CBT.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions for clients, both in-person and virtually
- Conduct neuro-psychological assessments including ADHD, learning needs, dyslexia, and other related conditions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing service development and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement client-centered treatment plans.
- Work closely with our 24/7 helpline responder team to manage risk, ensure the safety of clients in crisis situations and provide crisis interventions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with professional and legal standards.

Requirements
- Minimum Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with a minimum of 500 supervised hours of clinical experience post qualification (excluding academic placements) and ≥3 years of post-qualification clinical practice.
- Registered with appropriate local governing body such as HKPS
- Skilled in Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Approaches (e.g. TF-CBT, EMDR, DBT for trauma survivors, and/or Somatic Experiencing) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or other evidence-based approaches (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, DBT, SFBT).
- Experience managing moderate to high complexity cases.
- Hold valid and active licenses applicable to the country of practice.
- Proficiency in English and Vietnamese.
- Prior experience in EAP, therapy/counselling and/or as an in-house wellbeing provider is a plus.
