The Clinical Director of Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology leads the strategic growth, clinical quality, and operational performance of MeBe's Speech-Language Pathology services across all 10 markets. Their goal is to expand access to care, develop high-performing clinicians, drive operational excellence, and ensure a consistent, exceptional experience for children and families.
The role combines executive leadership with continued clinical practice, maintaining a limited caseload to stay connected to clinical care, provide mentorship, and ensure decisions remain grounded in best practices and family outcomes.

About What You'll Work On
Strategic Leadership and Program Development
Evaluate MeBe's existing Speech program and develop a multi-year strategy to strengthen clinical quality, operational performance, clinician engagement, and sustainable growth.
Assess current clinical practices, workflows, policies, and care models; modernize and implement evidence-based standards that improve consistency, quality, compliance, and scalability.
Identify opportunities to innovate and introduce new programs, service models, and best practices that expand access, improve outcomes, and differentiate MeBe in the market.
Lead the execution of strategic initiatives by partnering with Operations, Clinical, Scheduling, Recruiting, Business Development, Revenue Cycle, and ABA and OT leadership to drive measurable results.
Partner with Senior Leadership and Regional Directors to expand Speech services in existing markets while supporting successful launches in new markets through thoughtful planning and execution.
Build a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging data, clinician feedback, industry trends, and emerging research to evaluate performance, challenge existing practices, and drive ongoing innovation.
Clinical Quality and Compliance
Oversee the quality assurance and clinical integrity of speech-language programs across regions, including clinical observations and fidelity checklists for all SLP staff.
Ensure adherence to licensure, accreditation, and regulatory standards in all service states (AZ, CA, CO, TX, WA, VA).
Partner with the Senior Director of Clinical Quality to monitor clinical outcomes and implement improvement plans as needed.
Maintain a caseload averaging 15 direct clinical hours per week, ensuring personal practice remains current and evidence-based. *May increase/decrease based on company need
Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and complete documentation for assigned clients.
Mentorship, Training, and Team Development
Lead onboarding, coaching, and professional development for all Speech-Language Pathologists across the organization.
Conduct regular trainings, CE events, and clinical roundtables to advance team knowledge and promote best practices.
Collaborate with OT/ABA internal trainers and clinical leaders to deliver quarterly multidisciplinary educational content.
Provide clinical consultation for complex cases and treatment planning.
Promote a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability within the clinical team through individualized 1-on-1 and group meetings
Partner with Talent Acquisition and People Operations to support recruitment and retention of high-quality speech-language providers.
Manage oversight of Clinical Fellowship programs and ensure proper documentation
Operational Excellence and Collaboration
Partner with Regional Directors and Operations to ensure staffing, scheduling, and caseload management align with company standards and productivity goals.
Collaborate with Business Development and Family Success teams to support client conversion and retention.
Engage in community outreach to promote MeBe’s multidisciplinary services.
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Current state licensure and CCC-SLP credential.
Must reside and hold licensure in one of the following states: (AZ, CA, CO, TX, WA, VA).
Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams of SLPs preferred.
Demonstrated leadership experience in a management or supervisory capacity.
Strong knowledge of evidence-based speech-language therapy practices and interventions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and accreditation standards.
Proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams in a remote and collaborative environment.
