About this Business Continuity Manager- KSA role at Bank of Jordan
- Manage and oversee the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program across Bank of Jordan – Saudi Arabia Branches.
- Develop and maintain the Business Continuity and Operational Resilience frameworks, policies, and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Lead Business Impact Analysis (BIA), risk assessments, and the development of Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.
- Ensure the readiness and effectiveness of business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities through regular testing, crisis simulations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with SAMA requirements, ISO 22301, and other applicable standards.
- Monitor emerging regulations, industry trends, and best practices, recommending enhancements to strengthen operational resilience.
- Support incident and crisis management activities to ensure uninterrupted delivery of critical business services.
- Prepare management reports, KPIs, and KRIs related to business continuity and operational resilience.
- Promote a culture of business continuity through training, awareness programs, and advisory support across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM) or Risk Management, including at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Professional certifications such as CBCI, MBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CBCP, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
- Strong ability to conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
- Comprehensive knowledge of Business Continuity Management (BCM), Disaster Recovery (DR), and the requirements of ISO 22301.
- Knowledge of Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regulations and requirements.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Proficient in computer applications and the systems used within the organization.
- Thorough understanding of the internal and external policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements governing the business, including their updates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
