About this Bank Account Officer / Marketing Officer role at Octal Philippines Inc.
The Account Officer / Marketing Officer is responsible for generating new business opportunities by soliciting real estate mortgage loans and deposit products, developing and maintaining client relationships, and assisting clients throughout the loan and account opening process. The position plays a key role in achieving the branch's loan and deposit growth targets through field marketing, client acquisition, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Development and Marketing
- Conduct field marketing activities to acquire new clients for real estate mortgage loans and deposit products.
- Generate and maintain a pipeline of prospective borrowers and depositors through referrals, networking, and business calls.
- Establish and nurture relationships with real estate developers, brokers, agents, business owners, and other referral sources.
- Promote and cross-sell the Bank's products and services to existing and prospective clients.
- Meet assigned loan production, deposit generation, and sales targets.
- Loan Origination and Processing
- Solicit and process applications for real estate mortgage (REM) loans.
- Guide clients in completing loan application requirements and documentary submissions.
- Review and validate mortgage-related documents, including property titles, deeds of sale, tax declarations, income documents, and other supporting requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate timely loan evaluation, approval, and release.
- Deposit Generation and Account Management
- Solicit and open various deposit accounts, including savings, checking, and time deposit accounts.
- Assist clients in availing banking services such as auto fund transfers, check clearing arrangements, and other deposit-related facilities.
- Ensure compliance with account opening policies, customer due diligence, and regulatory requirements.
- Client Relationship Management
- Maintain regular contact with clients to strengthen relationships and identify additional business opportunities.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor account performance and provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and submit periodic sales, marketing, and client acquisition reports.
- Adhere to bank policies, operational procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by Branch Management.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in banking sales, mortgage lending, deposit generation, or field marketing.
- Knowledge of real estate mortgage documentation and loan processing is preferred.
- Familiarity with deposit account opening procedures and banking products is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and willing to perform fieldwork.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic banking systems.
