As an Assistant Project Manager, you will serve as project support by planning, organizing, and implementing project management principles. This position will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of a designated project to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. It is essential to demonstrate an understanding of how the business runs, how changing circumstances are handled, and who to contact when there are questions. Critical for success are excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and as a part of a team, meet deadlines, and anticipate and meet internal and external customer needs.

What it takes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
- Experience coordinating field operations, materials procurement and submittals preparation
- Exposure to multiple project delivery methods including Design Bid Build, Design Build, Progressive Design Build, CMGC and other is desired
- Exposure to Trenchless Technology is desired
- PMP is desired
- Experience with Primavera, HCSS, B2W, MS Office Suite and MS Projects is desired
- Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
- Travel up to 30% is required for this position
