About this Account Lead role at EnerMech
EnerMech is seeking an experienced Account Lead to manage the successful delivery of contracted services for assigned client accounts within our Lifting Solutions O&M business. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality, efficient, and commercially effective service delivery across client operations, including personnel, equipment, maintenance, project execution, reporting, and customer relationship management.
The Account Lead will serve as a key point of contact between EnerMech and the client, ensuring contract requirements are met while identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, strengthen client relationships, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of assigned client contracts, including core crew, ad hoc support teams, equipment, maintenance, and project requirements.
- Ensure EnerMech meets client expectations for safety, quality, service delivery, commercial performance, and operational excellence.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders, asset teams, technical teams, and internal EnerMech departments.
- Support client planning meetings, mobilisation readiness, gate compliance, maintenance planning, and operational coordination.
- Lead and manage contract-specific KPIs, client reporting, monthly reporting, QPRs, FPALs, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate sales enquiries, mobilisations, demobilisations, aged debt, equipment requirements, client meetings, planning, and technical support.
- Provide first-line technical support and coordinate client requirements, including breakdowns and urgent operational needs.
- Liaise regularly with offshore and site-based crews regarding maintenance, operations, planning, and service delivery.
- Travel offshore as required to conduct audits, management visits, and surveys.
- Maintain contract maintenance records, routines, corrective actions, and scheduling within client maintenance management systems.
- Monitor maintenance backlog and immediately escalate any safety-critical maintenance concerns to the client and internal technical authority.
- Review and approve contract-related CTRs, work packs, invoices, and other documentation as the Contract Representative.
- Ensure NAV and internal systems are used effectively to track, manage, and report business performance.
- Manage work in progress, aged debt, accounts payable, invoicing, and contract financial performance.
- Develop annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets for assigned contracts.
- Coordinate incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action closeout.
- Support employee relations, performance management, development, and resourcing activities in partnership with HR.
- Promote EnerMech’s wider capabilities to add value, resolve client issues, and support business growth.
- Maintain accurate business forecasts associated with assigned contracts.
- Support annual and five-year crane plans and budgets where applicable to the Cranes business line.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience managing and delivering services within an offshore, industrial, oil and gas, or energy-related environment.
- Proven experience leading operational teams and supporting client organizations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and service delivery.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, work in progress (WIP), aged debt, invoicing, and overall contract performance.
- Experience coordinating offshore personnel, technical teams, maintenance activities, and client stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of applicable industry legislation, safety case requirements, major accident hazard management, and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., DCR, PFEER).
- Experience with maintenance management systems, business reporting tools, CTRs, work packs, and contract administration processes.
- Mechanical Engineering degree or relevant technical qualification preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
- Experience within lifting, cranes, mechanical services, offshore maintenance, or asset integrity environments is highly desirable.
- Valid offshore survival certification and offshore medical certification are required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, challenge traditional thinking, and drive operational excellence.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
