Optimal, on behalf of a newly established boutique hotel in Amorgos is seeking a Waiter/Waitress A for the 2026 season.

Scope of role

The successful candidate will contribute to delivering a high-standard guest experience, providing attentive and professional service while supporting the overall operation of the food & beverage department.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized service to guests throughout breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
• Present and explain the curated menu with confidence, enthusiasm, and product knowledge.
• Take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure service standards are consistently met.
• Support bar operations when required, including the preparation and serving of beverages and cocktails.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in restaurant or bar service, ideally within a boutique hotel or upscale dining environment.
• Warm, genuine communication style with strong guest-service orientation.
• Good command of Greek and English; additional languages will be considered an asset.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, close-knit team.
• Attention to detail, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of basic bar operations and beverage preparation.
