About the Role

As a bicycle technician, your role is key to ensuring a positive experience for our guests, and involves:

• Building, servicing and maintaining our custom designed, company bike hire fleet.
• Loading and unloading of Rottnest Express hire bikes into the designated bike areas for collection and drop off by the vessel crew.
• Providing assistance to customers and vessel crew as required.
• Daily cleaning of hire equipment (hire bikes, snorkel and masks), workshop and terminal.
• Safe use of mechanical equipment (in bike workshop) in accordance with operational and safety procedures

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to be passionate about the experiences Rottnest Express offer, as well as:

• Have an eye for detail and ability to trouble shoot challenges as they arise
• Willing to work a wide range of hours over a 7 day roster, including public holidays
• Ability to work well in a busy environment with tight time frames
• Be able to communicate effectively with both team members and guests.
• Have a reliable, flexible and honest approach to work

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Current WA drivers license (preferable)
• Current HR or MR driver licence (highly regarded)
• Forklift License (desirable)
• Basic knowledge of MS Office
