For a leading multinational retailer: Head of Brand Strategy & Growth
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall brand and growth strategy across both B2C and B2B channels, aligning brand positioning with commercial objectives.
- Lead the integration of brand strategy, trade marketing, performance marketing, CRM, loyalty, e-commerce, and customer data to drive sustainable business growth.
- Define and optimize the end-to-end customer experience across physical stores and digital channels, identifying opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, conversion, and lifetime value.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, basket growth, and loyalty initiatives through data-driven marketing strategies and behavioral insights.
- Partner with Retail Operations to improve in-store productivity, customer engagement, and commercial execution, ensuring consistent brand experience across all locations.
- Own the commercial marketing calendar, including promotions, offers, pricing strategy, trade activations, and omnichannel campaigns, maximizing ROI and business impact.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Retail, E-commerce, Commercial, Digital, and Operations teams to deliver integrated growth initiatives and ensure flawless execution.
- Leverage customer, commercial, and market insights to identify new growth opportunities, create competitive differentiation, and continuously optimize marketing investments.
- Manage marketing budgets, monitor business KPIs, and measure the effectiveness of commercial initiatives to drive profitable growth.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Brand, Commercial, Growth, Trade Marketing, CRM, Digital Marketing, or related commercial leadership roles, preferably within Retail, Omnichannel, or Consumer businesses.
- Strong expertise in brand strategy, trade marketing, performance marketing, CRM, loyalty programs, customer analytics, and e-commerce.
- Deep understanding of retail operations, customer journey optimization, pricing strategy, promotions, and commercial execution across physical and digital channels.
- Proven experience managing customer acquisition, retention, customer lifetime value (CLV), conversion, basket growth, and other commercial growth KPIs.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate customer and commercial data into actionable growth strategies and measurable business outcomes.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Retail, Digital, Operations, and Commercial functions.
- Commercially driven with a strong understanding of consumer behavior, pricing, value proposition development, and competitive differentiation.
- Hands-on experience with omnichannel marketing, digital ecosystems, marketing technologies, and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
