Requirements
A vacancy has arisen for 1 x Technical Training Manager-Pest Control
The primary function of this role is to develop and support the existing Technical and Operational Training Programme delivery to front line colleagues within Pest Control.
To act as the technical lead for the delivery of training and support across all support functions and SA Pest Control. Together with leading and guiding the operational teams in order to ensure competence and confidence.
Ensuring that the field support and training delivered meets the agreed individual business requirements and expectations, and is delivered in a timely manner with measurable outputs.
To be proactive in ensuring that all operational training Programmes are lined up to help us meet our business requirements.
This role will lead the Operational Training Agenda supporting the Operations Directors, Operational Management Teams, Technical Teams and frontline colleagues to ensure we are delivering the highest quality of service in the most efficient way.
Working closely with Operations Directors, Operational Management Teams, Technical Teams and frontline colleagues you will ensure that we are living “The Experts In” philosophy.
The role is part field, part office based with SA travel; there will be a requirement for overnight stay.
You will have a true passion for service excellence, colleague development, and training coupled with a background in operations and use of Google suite would be beneficial.

KEY WORK OUTPUTS and ACCOUNTABILITY
- Ensure that all mandatory training is delivered in line with existing policies & procedures.
- Constantly review training processes to keep them relevant and in line with developments within the organisation.
- Ensure a blended approach to learning is maintained covering on-job, classroom and online learning.
- Ensure all training activities are carried out and recorded consistently.
- Arrange and ensure the delivery of classroom and field based training to colleagues.
- Work with the business QA Field Managers to ensure a consistent delivery of all Field and Classroom Training.
- Review and keep training materials up to date and relevant.
- Promote and encourage the use of on-line learning material through our U+ platform.
- Act as and help manage subject matter experts in the development of on-line learning material for our U+ communities.
- Work with awarding bodies to develop accredited qualifications for colleague grading and development
- Develop and manage a training matrix for the pest business.
- Provide a monthly summary of training activities to report at CVC.
- Support the Head of the Technical Academy in all training and development activities.
- Maintain and manage escalation processes for non-conformance of training
- Be responsible for Area Pay and Grading processing and gateways for Pest
Support duties of these National Clients include:
- Completing administration setup of new locations
- Manage service channel daily (customer portal dashboard)
- daily monitoring of work orders from client
- Daily & monthly invoicing
- Uploading invoices into customer invoicing portal where applicable
- Completing regular weekly & monthly summary reports for client review & discussion on weekly calls
- Account maintenance and customer portal support
Various other data entry related tasks for Commercial Accounts, including but not limited to the following:
- Distribute weekly state of service reports for District Managers to ensure route completion and invoicing
- Assisting to resolve customer disputes with the accounts receivable team for assigned districts
- Invoicing for all non-National customers weekly
- Data entry of new contracts, new job sales, and product sales into our CRM software.
- Customer account maintenance. Contact updates, changes to billing, etc..
- Assisting Sales Executives and the operations team with looking up customer info in CRM
- Assemble logbooks (info binders) for customers as required
- Order office supplies and coordinate any office maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- In-depth understanding of our Area Service model.
- I.T Literate with good knowledge of Google suite
- Good knowledge & understanding of Company Policies and Procedures
- Understanding and working of our U+ Platform
- Good initiative and judgement skills
- Team player
- Customer Focus: excelling at customer service & able to build rapport
- Communication skills: both verbal and written
