About this 03. Mid-level AWS Developer | Fully Remote | USD Payments role at Voxidea-Stafi
We are looking for a Mid-Level AWS Developer to design, build, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications and infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing scalable applications, working with cloud services, automating deployments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
This role requires someone who is comfortable writing production-quality code, troubleshooting cloud-based applications, and contributing to architecture decisions while following security and best practices.
Applicants must be based in the LATAM region.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Deploy and manage applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Monitor application performance and optimize cloud resources.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Work with databases, storage solutions, and messaging services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and other developers.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
- Write technical documentation and deployment guides.
- Continuously improve system scalability, reliability, and performance.
Requirements
AWS Services
Required experience with the following AWS services:
- EC2 – Deploying and managing virtual servers
- S3 – Object storage and file management
- Lambda – Building and maintaining serverless functions
- IAM – Managing users, roles, and permissions
- RDS – Working with managed relational databases
- CloudWatch – Monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting applications
Basic familiarity with (preferred):
- API Gateway
- VPC
- CloudFormation or Terraform
- ECS (or basic Docker deployments on AWS)
Preferred
- AWS certifications.
- Experience supporting production environments.
- Experience with DevOps practices.
- Experience designing scalable cloud architectures.
- Previous work with international or U.S.-based companies.
