π What Youβll Do:
- Draft, prepare, and review legal documents related to personal injury cases, including pleadings, motions, and affidavits. π
- Conduct comprehensive legal research, with a focus on police records, medical files, and the discovery process. π
- Communicate with clients and address their inquiries regarding personal injury claims. π
- Maintain accurate documentation of case-related information and ensure timely filings. π
- Assist attorneys with administrative tasks and provide case progress updates. π€
- Coordinate the collection and delivery of essential case documents. π
Requirements
β Our Ideal candidate:
- Has at least one year of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in a US Personal Injury law firm. πΌ
- Holds a bachelorβs degree in Law. π
- Is proficient in legal software like Clio or MyCase (preferred). π»
- Is bilingual in English (C1 or higher) and Spanish, both spoken and written. π£οΈβοΈ
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. π£
- Can work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision. πͺ
- Permanently resides in Latin America. π
- Owns a reliable laptop (Windows or Mac, 2017 or newer) with a stable internet connection. π»
