THE ROLE

Own the creative voice of the world's most-watched brand on YouTube Shorts.

MrBeast is building the most influential creative studio on the planet. As YouTube Shorts Creative Lead, you will be wholly responsible for how our brand shows up on YouTube Shorts from a creative standpoint. You will bring an instinctive understanding of what makes content move on the platform and the creative conviction to make it happen at the highest level. This is a rare opportunity for a creative who is truly native to vertical video and understands how to shape platform culture. You will lead a dedicated team of creatives while working alongside a Social Analytics Lead, focusing exclusively on ideation and execution for YouTube Shorts.

You will own the creative output of MrBeast's YouTube Shorts presence. Your job is to lead the entire creative process from initial brainstorming through post-mortem content evaluation. You will guide a writers room, manage a team creatives, handle high-volume output, and pitch ideas with conviction. The best short-form creators know that horizontal video formats do not automatically translate to vertical content. You will bring a point of view specific to YouTube Shorts, its audience, and its rhythms, translating that into consistent, high-volume content that feels native to the platform while remaining unmistakably MrBeast.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Generate and pitch high-impact creative concepts for YouTube Shorts on a continuous basis.
• Lead a team of creatives and direct a dedicated writers room.
• Own the full creative lifecycle from brainstorming through post-mortem content evaluations.
• Direct and film short-form vertical content hands-on.
• Manage high-volume production schedules without sacrificing creative quality.
• Collaborate closely with our Social Analytics Lead to translate platform intelligence into executable creative.
• Stay obsessively current with YouTube Shorts trends, formats, and platform shifts.
• Develop a deep understanding of the MrBeast brand and what makes content feel authentically Beast.
• Participate in regular creative reviews and after-action analysis to sharpen output over time.
• Work cross-functionally with creative, production, and social teams to bring concepts to execution.

WHAT YOU'BRING

• Genuine, platform-native fluency on YouTube Shorts and a clear understanding of vertical versus horizontal content.
• A proven track record of producing vertical content that performs, whether for a creator, brand, agency, or yourself.
• Direct experience filming and directing short-form content.
• Experience collaborating with prominent talent, creators, or celebrities.
• A calm, level-headed demeanor with the ability to manage high-volume output in a fast-paced setting.
• Video editing experience is a plus.
• Strong creative instincts and the confidence to pitch ideas with clarity and conviction.
• The ability to work at speed without sacrificing quality of thinking.
• Coachability, low ego, and a genuine hunger to operate at the highest level of creative.
• Comfort working in a high-pressure, feedback-rich environment where the standard is world-class.
