JOB PURPOSE

The Data Manager – LATAM will lead the Data Foundation agenda across the region, ensuring the stability, scalability, and evolution of data platforms that support critical business processes.

This role acts as a key bridge between the Product Teams and the Data Foundation ecosystem, driving data strategy execution, governance, and operational excellence while ensuring alignment with global Data & Analytics initiatives.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Data Platform Leadership

• Lead end-to-end ownership of LATAM data platforms and operations.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, performance, and business continuity across data products and pipelines.
• Oversee operational excellence, including incident, change, and problem management.

Data Governance & Quality

• Drive data governance practices, standards, and ownership models across the region.
• Ensure data quality, compliance, and alignment with global frameworks.

Business Partnership

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Drive adoption of data products and analytics capabilities across LATAM.
• Act as the key regional liaison between LATAM markets and global teams.

Transformation & Portfolio Management

• Lead strategic data transformation initiatives and platform evolution.
• Manage prioritization, delivery, risks, timelines, and value realization across the LATAM data portfolio.

People, Vendor & Financial Management

• Lead regional teams and external partners to ensure effective delivery.
• Drive capability building and operational efficiency.
• Manage and optimize platform investments and technology costs.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data & Analytics, or a related field.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Solid experience in Data Management, Data Platforms, Data Products, or related Data & Analytics domains.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data architecture, and data integration principles.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Experience delivering and implementing data-driven solutions.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and external partners.
