Responsibilities in Growth roles may include: 

• Lead and support the end-to-end pitch process across new client acquisitions and retentions, from opportunity vetting and brief interpretation through final delivery.  

• Develop tailored, differentiated, and insight-led pitch narratives that address client needs, market context, and competitive dynamics.  

• Coordinate cross-functional pitch teams, establish workstreams and owners, manage timelines, and keep deliverables progressing against deadlines.  

• Research clients, categories, consumers, competitors, and decision-makers to create backgrounders and surface relevant opportunity insights.  

• Develop and quality-control written responses, presentations, credentials, case studies, team bios, creative assets, and pitch theater.  

• Bring together WPP Media and broader WPP capabilities to create integrated solutions that go beyond the brief and deliver measurable business impact.  

• Build and nurture prospective client relationships before, during, and after pitches, supporting a strong pipeline of high-value opportunities. 

• Capture pitch learnings, maintain best-in-class content and resources, and help improve repeatable processes, tools, reporting, and ways of working.  

• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality, collaboration, accountability, and the overall pitch experience.  

• Mentor and support colleagues, sharing feedback and helping build a high-performance Growth culture.  

Skills & Experience 

We're looking for brilliant people who bring some or all of the following: 

• Experience in growth, new business, business development, pitch management, client leadership, marketing, media, strategy, or related fields.  

• Experience supporting or leading RFI/RFP responses, pitch presentations, retentions, or new client acquisition work.  

• Strong storytelling, writing, editing, presentation, and quality-control skills, with the ability to shape compelling client-facing narratives.  

• Ability to interpret briefs, synthesize research and intelligence, and connect client challenges with integrated WPP Media capabilities.  

• Strong project and stakeholder management skills, including coordinating cross-functional teams, workstreams, timelines, and deliverables.  

• Commercial judgment and an understanding of how media, data, technology, commerce, content, and other capabilities can contribute to client growth.  

• Curiosity, resilience, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain clarity and momentum in a fast-paced pitch environment.  
• A collaborative, accountable, and solutions-focused approach, with leadership and mentoring experience for roles with team-management responsibilities.
