Working Student (d/f/m) as Software Development Assistant
You are a full time student (d/f/m), looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of an Software Development Assistant (d/f/m). Then apply now! You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least €18.53 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.
Definition working student
Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.
Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Accelerate engineering efficiency with AI Prototypes (POCs) that optimize / assist development teams using applicable and available AI frameworks
- Contribute to project work, potentially including coding, testing or SW integration.
- Contribute to organizational support by addressing backlog maintenance for Scrum teams, scripting Jira automations, creating & maintaining dashboards, etc.
- Assist in data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports and presentations.
- Preparation and reporting of Project Status to various stakeholders.
- Conduct research and gather information on specific topics as required.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Desired skills and qualifications
- Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in a relevant field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Electronics Engineering,, or related disciplines).
- Programming and Scripting abilities along with previous practical experience is mandatory.
- A strong aptitude for operationalizing AI to enhance daily productivity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets, AppSheet, Gemini, etc).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, is mandatory; and German would be a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of motivation, proactivity, and willingness to learn.
