The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager of Health Services, the Wellbeing Advisor will help advance TC Energy’s enterprise wellbeing strategy and bring our employee value proposition—Thriving together—to life through practical, leader-led and sustainable action.

TC Energy is evolving from individual wellness initiatives toward a holistic and integrated approach that embeds wellbeing into our culture, employee experience and the way work happens every day. Our approach recognizes the interconnected financial, mental, physical and social dimensions of wellbeing and considers the influence of work, workforce programs and the workplace environment.

The Wellbeing Advisor will plan, implement and continuously improve enterprise programs, campaigns and resources that help employees feel valued, supported and empowered to make a meaningful impact. The role will work across Canada, the United States and Mexico, using employee feedback, program data and external insights to strengthen awareness, accessibility, participation and outcomes.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative and credible advisor who can translate strategy into action, engage diverse audiences, equip leaders to support psychologically safe workplaces and build strong partnerships across Health Services, Total Rewards, Talent, Inclusion and Belonging, Facilities, Communications, Safety and operational teams.

This role could be located in Calgary or Houston.

What you’ll do

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of TC Energy’s enterprise wellbeing plan, roadmap, guiding principles and multidimensional framework.
• Plan, implement and administer wellbeing programs and projects aligned with the financial, mental, physical and social wellbeing pillars.
• Integrate wellbeing into the employee value proposition, employee experience, leadership practices, onboarding, communications and existing business rhythms.
• Develop and execute enterprise campaigns, communications, learning resources and events that increase awareness and understanding of available programs, services and resources.
• Equip leaders with practical tools, messages and guidance to support employee wellbeing, psychological safety, workload conversations and work-life balance.
• Use insights from The Pulse, employee listening activities, program utilization, market research and other data sources to identify workforce needs, risks, gaps and opportunities.
• Establish and monitor meaningful measures and key performance indicators to assess program reach, employee experience and wellbeing outcomes.
• Prepare reports, presentations, recommendations and decision materials for leaders, governance committees and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate enterprise wellbeing activities, including mental health campaigns, health fairs, employee challenges, educational sessions, wellbeing calendars and targeted initiatives.
• Support programs and practices that create personalized and accessible employee experiences across office, field, remote and hybrid work environments.
• Partner with Health Services, Total Rewards, Talent, Inclusion and Belonging, Facilities, Communications, Safety, Human Resources and business leaders to deliver an integrated approach.
• Build relationships with employees, leaders, wellbeing champions, committees, contractors, vendors and external partners to ensure business needs are understood and met.
• Monitor emerging research, workforce trends, regulatory developments and leading practices, and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Support vendor oversight, program governance, documentation, budget planning and continuous improvement activities.
• Coach and advise peers and leaders on wellbeing, psychological safety, resilience, healthy workplace practices and available employee resources.
• Support emergency management or organizational response activities where employee wellbeing expertise is required.
• Travel occasionally across TC Energy’s footprint to engage employees, leaders and partners.

Minimum Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in health promotion, nursing, public health, occupational health, psychology, human resources, organizational development, health and safety or a related discipline.
• Six years of related experience in workplace wellbeing, health promotion, employee experience, organizational health, occupational health, human resources or a comparable field.
• Demonstrated experience planning and delivering complex programs, projects, campaigns or organizational initiatives in a large multinational corporation.
• Strong facilitation, written communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification or applicable designation in workplace health promotion, nursing, psychological health and safety, human resources, project management, change management or a related practice.
• Experience supporting enterprise programs across Canada and the United States; experience working across Canada, the United States and Mexico is an asset.
• Knowledge of psychological health and safety, employee listening, organizational culture, employee value proposition and employee experience practices.
• Experience developing wellbeing strategies, roadmaps, governance models, communications plans or measurement frameworks.
• Strong consulting and relationship-management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
