We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Marketing to lead the strategic direction and performance of marketing, branding, digital presence, and reputation initiatives across our multifamily portfolio. This executive role will partner closely with Operations, Asset Management, Acquisitions, and Executive Leadership to drive leasing performance, strengthen brand reputation, enhance the resident experience, and support long-term portfolio growth.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies supporting stabilized communities, lease-ups, repositionings, and acquisitions.
- Lead company and property-level branding, digital marketing, social media, online reputation, SEO/SEM, and advertising strategies.
- Partner with Operations and Revenue Management to drive traffic, conversions, occupancy, and leasing performance.
- Establish marketing budgets, KPIs, dashboards, and ROI measurements tied to business and asset performance.
- Support acquisitions and portfolio growth through market research, competitive positioning, and branding strategy.
- Lead and develop the marketing team while overseeing agencies, vendors, CRM, analytics, and marketing technology platforms.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, preferably in multifamily, property management, hospitality, or real estate.
- Experience overseeing multi-market portfolios and property-level marketing.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, reputation management, branding, and resident-focused strategies.
- Proven experience leading teams, managing budgets, and partnering with executive leadership.
- Strategic, data-driven mindset with strong business and financial acumen.
This position will have a requirement of 4 days in office at MG Corporate headquarters in San Diego, CA.
Compensation and Benefits
- $175-$200k annually DOE
- Company profit sharing
