Job Description:
The VP, Growth & Alliances supports the Creative Practice Area, spanning performance creative, media, and CRM, while leading and facilitating the agency's new business and pitch efforts. In this highly visible role, you will partner with both existing clients and prospective brands to identify, pursue, and secure growth opportunities across the business.
You will collaborate closely with senior agency leaders, cross-functional teams, and client stakeholders to drive revenue growth, develop compelling go-to-market strategies, and lead winning pitch processes. This role routinely interfaces with SVP, EVP, and C-level dentsu leadership, as well as senior client executives.
You will report to our SVP, Growth & Alliances.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage new business activity across the Creative Practice Area, supporting growth initiatives from opportunity identification through pitch delivery and post-pitch follow-up.
Partner with Growth leadership to develop and execute revenue growth strategies, with a strong focus on acquiring new clients while expanding existing relationships.
Drive the end-to-end pitch process, collaborating with creative, media, strategy, CRM, and operational teams to ensure all deliverables meet timelines, objectives, and quality expectations.
Lead the development of RFP and procurement responses, partnering with agency leadership and subject matter experts to create compelling, differentiated solutions.
Maintain and evolve agency credentials, case studies, leadership biographies, and other business development materials, ensuring content remains current, relevant, and impactful.
Conduct market, industry, competitive, and prospect research to inform pitch strategies, uncover client needs, and strengthen agency positioning.
Prepare consulting agreements, non-disclosure agreements, scopes, and new business proposals in collaboration with internal stakeholders and legal partners.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience managing and leading pitch processes across multiple industry categories within a creative, media, digital, or integrated marketing agency environment.
Strong understanding of the marketing function, including the business drivers influencing CMO and senior marketing leader decision-making, with a proven ability to translate agency capabilities into compelling growth stories and win strategies.
Demonstrated success driving both net-new business acquisition and organic growth opportunities within existing client relationships.
Experience supporting digital or performance marketing driven campaign solutions.
Strong strategic thinking and storytelling skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify trends, connect insights to business opportunities, and develop innovative growth strategies.
Naturally curious with a strong understanding of consumer behavior, culture, media, and emerging marketplace trends, coupled with an appreciation for both creative excellence and performance-driven outcomes.

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles and Detroit). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
The annual salary range for this position is $136,850-$185,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
