About the Opportunity

Ever wondered if you could get paid for simply recording your everyday life?

Kaya by Chemin is currently building a pool of potential contributors in Singapore for an upcoming AI video data collection project.

The project involves capturing authentic, everyday activities from a first-person perspective using a head-mounted camera. You could be recording activities such as cooking, commuting, shopping, cleaning, pursuing hobbies, or simply going about your normal routine.

No camera required, the equipment will be provided by Kaya by Chemin on loan.

This is an Expression of Interest, meaning we’re building a pool of potential contributors before the project is confirmed. If a suitable opportunity becomes available, we’ll contact contributors whose profiles match the project requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Wear a head-mounted camera and record your normal daily activities.
• Capture natural, authentic footage rather than staged or scripted activities.
• Record continuous clips of approximately 10 minutes each.
• Follow the project’s recording and submission guidelines.
• Complete a short 10–15 minute screening video using your own smartphone before receiving the equipment.
• Return or hand off the loaned equipment when your participation ends.

Requirements

Work Scope

• Location: Singapore
• Recording format: First-person / head-mounted video
• Clip duration: Approximately 10 minutes per recording
• Expected collection period: Approximately 3 weeks
• Payment: $7 USD / SGD 8.95 per accepted hour of footage
• Payment is based on accepted footage. Rejected or incomplete footage will not be paid.

Who We’re Looking For

• Based in Singapore.
• 18 years old or above.
• Comfortable wearing a head-mounted camera while doing everyday activities.
• Own a smartphone capable of recording a 10–15 minute screening video.
• Have regular activities and environments that can realistically be recorded.
• Comfortable following detailed recording guidelines.
• Able to ensure that no minors appear in the footage.
• Comfortable obtaining consent from other people who may appear in the recordings.
• Previous experience with data collection, annotation, or wearable/action cameras is a plus, but not required.
