What you'll actually do
Discover
Go beyond assumptions.
* Conduct user interviews, contextual research, usability studies and other research activities.
* Observe how people actually work — not just what they say they do.
* Identify unmet needs, pain points, behaviours and opportunities.
* Turn qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights.
Define
Make sense of the messy stuff.
* Frame problems and opportunities clearly.
* Create personas, journeys, service blueprints and experience maps where useful.
* Bring structure to ambiguous problems.
* Connect user needs with business and technology realities.
Design
Make ideas tangible.
* Create user flows, information architecture, wireframes and high-fidelity designs.
* Build prototypes to explore and communicate ideas quickly.
* Design experiences across digital products and ecosystems.
* Contribute to and evolve design systems and interaction patterns.
* Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure the experience survives contact with reality.
Validate
Don't fall in love with your first idea.
* Test concepts and prototypes with users.
* Use evidence to challenge your own assumptions.
* Iterate based on feedback, behaviour and data.
* Measure whether the experience actually solved the problem.
Influence
Design isn't something that happens inside Figma.
* Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions.
* Present ideas and insights to senior stakeholders.
* Tell compelling stories that connect user needs to business outcomes.
* Bring the voice of the customer into product decisions.
* Advocate for better experiences across the organisation
And yes, AI is part of the job.
We expect you to be AI-curious.
Not because AI is fashionable, but because it's changing how products are built — and how people interact with them.
We want someone who is exploring questions like:
What happens when the interface becomes intelligent?
How do we design trust?
When should AI make a decision — and when should the human?
How do we design experiences that adapt to people?
How can AI make us better designers and researchers?
You don't need to have all the answers.
You need to be willing to explore them.
Your toolkit
You don't need to be an expert in everything.
But you should be comfortable with several of these:

What we value
Curiosity over certainty.
Evidence over opinion.
Collaboration over silos.
Simplicity over complexity.
Impact over output.
Learning over ego.
And above all: We design for people — not portfolios.
Ready to make an impact?
If you're someone who sees a problem and immediately wants to understand it, someone who gets excited by ambiguity, someone who believes design can influence more than pixels...
We'd love to meet you.
Bring your curiosity.
Bring your questions.
Bring your point of view.
The rest, we'll build together.
