What the job is …

As the USM Strategic Programs Manager, you will report to the HO ASCCU and be accountable for planning, organizing, and engaging with USM entities to evaluate and drive strategic projects for Satair. You will develop concrete objectives and account plans to ensure profitable growth and outstanding customer satisfaction for assigned strategic programs within Satair. 

Your main responsibilities:

• Partner with internal teams and USM entities to identify, evaluate, and deliver new profitable USM business opportunities by leveraging organizational synergies.

• Act as the responsible Account Director and focal point for key strategic initiatives, managing opportunities throughout the entire USM program lifecycle.

• Maintain excellent, long-term relationships with existing and potential customers, managing operations-related interactions, complaints, and rapid issue resolution.

• Bring a strong airline and MRO maintenance philosophy to support departments, acting as the true voice of the customer.

• Ensure support organizations fulfill their obligations in accordance with SLAs, supplier operations, and spares availability.

Travel is required for this position to effectively engage with both internal and external customers.

How you will contribute to the team

We are looking for a highly customer-minded, diplomatic professional with strong business acumen and the ability to balance the varying interests of multiple stakeholders in an international context. You should bring a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience working in an airline, MRO, or USM group, complemented by a proven track record of successful customer engagement and USM market knowledge in commercial aviation. Your excellent analytical skills will help you see the bigger picture and derive long-term strategic recommendations, while your outstanding presentation skills will enable you to build rapport across a complex network. A solid understanding of the aviation business—specifically regarding spares support, supply chain management, and maintenance obligations—is essential. You must also possess an excellent command of both written and spoken English
