🏢 Job Summary:

The Treasury Coordinator supports the company’s daily cash operations by monitoring cash activity, maintaining accurate transaction records, completing reconciliations, and assisting with cash reporting. This role works closely with Finance partners to research discrepancies, support internal controls, and help ensure cash transactions are processed accurately and timely.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily cash activity and maintain accurate records of receipts, disbursements, transfers, and other cash transactions.

• Prepare and complete bank and cash account reconciliations; research and help resolve variances in a timely manner.
• Assist with cash position reporting and provide accurate, organized information to support short-term cash planning.
• Maintain supporting documentation for cash transactions, reconciliations, and related Finance records.
• Partner with Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and other internal teams to research transaction questions and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities related to cash accounts, including preparation of schedules and reconciliations.
• Follow internal controls and company policies related to cash handling, banking activity, documentation, and financial records.
• Assist with audit and information requests by gathering clear, complete, and accurate supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of cash processes and reporting.
• Communicate exceptions, unresolved issues, and potential risks to the Controller or appropriate Finance leader.
• Perform other related duties and support Finance projects as assigned

Requirements

💡 Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Atleast 3 years of experience supporting cash operations, treasury, accounting, banking, or a related financial function preferred.
• Experience completing account reconciliations and working with transaction-level financial data preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
• Working knowledge of cash transactions, account reconciliations, and basic accounting principles.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain discrepancies and follow up on open items.
• Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Ability to research transaction activity, identify inconsistencies, and support practical problem resolution.
• Ability to handle financial information with discretion and follow established controls and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn financial systems and banking platforms.
• Demonstrates initiative and a continuous-improvement mindset in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
