If you love the open road as much as a well-run job site, this could be the role for you.

At Singleton Construction, no two projects, and no two months, are the same.

Our work takes us across the central and southern United States, delivering commercial construction projects wherever our clients need us. That means you'll spend your time traveling between project locations, leading teams, building relationships and delivering exceptional work.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to report to the same job site every day.

It's for someone who enjoys the variety of new locations, new challenges and new people. Someone who likes the independence that comes with being on the road and takes pride in representing Singleton wherever a project takes them.

If you enjoy travelling, meeting new people and seeing different parts of the country while building your career, you'll thrive here.

Why Singleton?

At Singleton Construction, we deliver nationwide retail and commercial construction programs for some of America's most recognized brands. Our clients trust us because we build strong relationships, communicate openly and consistently deliver projects the right way.

As a Traveling Superintendent, you'll be one of the people who brings that reputation to life. You'll have the autonomy to lead your sites, make decisions, solve problems and build lasting relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams wherever your next assignment takes you.

We know that traveling for work is a commitment, so we make sure our people are well looked after. We arrange your travel, provide quality accommodation and give you the support you need throughout every project, so you can focus on leading exceptional job sites, not worrying about the logistics.

For many of our Superintendents, that's what makes this role so rewarding. Every project offers the chance to work with new people, tackle new challenges and build experience across a wide variety of commercial construction projects. It's a career that's constantly evolving, with the opportunity to see more of the country while doing work you're proud of.

If you're looking for a company that values your expertise, trusts you to lead and supports you every step of the way, you'll feel right at home at Singleton.

What you'll be doing

As a Traveling Superintendent, you'll lead construction activities on site from mobilization through final handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading all day-to-day site operations.
• Managing subcontractors and coordinating on-site activities.
• Maintaining safe, organized and productive job sites.
• Delivering projects to schedule while maintaining exceptional quality.
• Identifying and resolving issues before they impact project delivery.
• Working closely with Project Managers to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Building strong relationships with clients, landlords, vendors and project partners.
• Conducting site meetings, inspections and quality checks.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
• Supporting successful project closeout and client handover.

What success looks like

Your sites are safe, organized and running efficiently.

Clients know they can rely on you. Subcontractors enjoy working with you because expectations are clear. Problems are dealt with early, quality remains high and projects are delivered on time.

You'll become someone clients request by name and colleagues trust to lead some of our most important projects.

Requirements

What we're looking for

We're looking for experienced Superintendents who enjoy leading teams, solving problems and delivering exceptional projects.

You'll likely have:

• Experience supervising projects in active/open retail environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, site logistics, and schedule management.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• A proactive approach to jobsite safety and quality control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and varying shifts based on project requirements.
