As our Training & Group Work Facilitator, you'll use your professional expertise to design and deliver engaging training and group programs that build knowledge, strengthen relationships and support meaningful change.

Working with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders, you'll facilitate accredited and non-accredited programs across counselling, mental health, wellbeing, domestic violence, parenting, child development and child safety.

Your opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Professional Services Hub Manager, you'll work across Anglicare and with external organisations to create safe, engaging and dynamic learning experiences.

You'll combine your clinical or human services background with strong facilitation skills to design training packages and group programs that increase understanding, empathy and knowledge while building individual and community capacity.

You'll also build relationships with stakeholders across schools, government, community organisations and businesses, identifying opportunities to expand the reach and impact of Anglicare's training and group work services.

With integrity and resilience, you will:

• Design and facilitate engaging accredited and non-accredited training, psychoeducational and therapeutic group programs.
• Deliver programs across areas including mental health, wellbeing, domestic violence, parenting, child development and child safety.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and identify opportunities for new training and group programs.
• Monitor participant feedback and evaluate programs to continually strengthen quality, consistency and impact.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure training and group work meets organisational, legislative and funding requirements.

What you'll bring

You're an engaging and confident facilitator who knows how to create a learning environment where people feel safe to participate, reflect and grow.

You bring professional knowledge in counselling, psychology, social work or a related discipline, together with the ability to translate complex and sensitive topics into practical, meaningful learning experiences.

You're equally comfortable facilitating a group, designing a new program, building stakeholder relationships and working independently to deliver agreed outcomes.

You also share our organisational values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence, embedding them in everything you do.

What's required:

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or a related discipline, with registration with the relevant professional body.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or at least five years' training experience in a similar role.
• At least three years' demonstrated experience designing and delivering accredited and non-accredited training and group programs.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating programs across areas such as domestic violence, suicide prevention, mental health or child safety.
• Current unrestricted Driver's Licence and ability to meet required probity checks, including Working with Children Check and National Police Check.

What's preferred:

• Experience delivering men's behaviour change programs.
• Experience designing psychoeducational or therapeutic group programs.
• Experience working with stakeholders across schools, government, community services or business environments.
