The Emerging Talent Traineeship is designed for fresh graduates where Baker Hughes will train fresh talent who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a specific business. The traineeship duration is 6 – 12 months and will develop your technical knowledge and soft skills and provide on the job learning and exposure.

As part of our Emerging Talent Traineeship, you will be involved in: 

• Receiving coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset. 

• Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements. 

• Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks. 

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders. 

• Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engineering drawings, models, and MBOMs on time and error-free using modeling software and PLMs.

• Developing automated BOM and control valve configurations in Rule stream and testing.

• Learning the principles in the design of valves and actuation systems and the components required to build them.

• Supporting the instrumentation and testing team on validation prototypes and new product introductions (NPIs).

• Ensuring all data protection activities of personal and special category data are done in line with the company’s Data Protection Policy.

• Observing and following relevant systems, rules, and methods of working to ensure health, safety, and environmental care.

To be successful in this traineeship you will: 

• Have recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university mechanical, electronics, instrumentation engineering, computer science or equivalent, Graduated from your bachelors’ degree within the last 12 months.

• Have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0

• Be fluent in written and spoken English and have effective communication skills 

• Be inquisitive and present a thirst for knowledge 

• Be legally entitled to work within the country in which you are applying, without sponsorship or time restrictions.
