Meaningful Work From Day One

The Trade Marketing Specialist, RTD acts as the trade & marketing execution engine for our new to the world RTD, premium brand propositions into flawless in-store execution across Japan's leading retail channels. This role owns the 12-month trade activation calendar, partner briefs, and localized field execution tools required to secure distribution and defend shelf velocity.

What You Can Expect

• 3P Partner Enablement: Lead the strategic briefing and commercial alignment of our 3rd-Party distribution partner's trade marketing and sales planning teams with advanced brand concepts.

• Trade Negotiation Preparation: Drive the creation of compelling "selling stories" and customized toolkits tailored for Key Account Managers (KAMs) ahead of the critical 6-month trade negotiation windows.

• Channel Customization: Design and deploy cross-channel commercial activations specifically optimized to hit strict velocity hurdles within the high-stakes CVS (Convenience Store) and SM (Supermarket) channels.

• Customer Relationships: Build strong, successful relationships with customers and partners to ensure that brand activation plans are aligned with their needs.

• Field Force Optimization: Oversee the strategic allocation and operational guidelines for the outsourced merchandiser pool, transforming their deployment models to drive maximum on-shelf presence.

• Format & Placement Excellence: Establish and audit localized 'Perfect Store' guidelines that prioritize our premium 350ml and 500ml format strategies at the point of purchase.

• Budget & POS Management: Manage the allocated trade marketing expenditure, partnering with global procurement networks to deliver high-impact, cost-effective localized POSM.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: 3–5 years of trade marketing, shopper marketing, or commercial sales experience within the Japanese FMCG or Beverage Alcohol sectors.

• Language: Native/Fluent Japanese and professional fluency in English (both speaking and writing).

• Analytical Rigor:Strong capability to track store-level retail execution metrics, scan data, and competitor activations to pivot trade plans responsively.

• Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional relational and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and guide external 3rd-party sales teams and distributors.

• Tech Savvy: High proficiency in MS Office and standard brand tracking platforms.
